Summer 2026 Marketing Plan
Built from Peter's answers · June 29, 2026 · Builder & new-construction focus · Under $500/mo
Updated 2026-07-23 — This week's moves
Based on current site assets; competitor feed pending.
- Two-site SEO split & national installer funnel: Hydronic Authority (/hydronic-authority/) builds national search authority on technical boiler topics while actively funnelling Utah homeowners and builders directly to Phillips Hydronics via the Find a Utah Installer page.
- Promote instant Wisetack customer financing: Feature the new financing page across quotes, social posts, and site banners. Customers and GCs get direct, live Wisetack application links for instant monthly payment options on high-ticket heating installs.
- Turn new pages into Google Business Profile posts: Repurpose the newly created reviews, projects, and service-areas pages as weekly GBP posts and social updates to show proof of real Utah jobs and boost local map rankings.
- Boiler Error-Code Library as a traffic magnet: Leverage the comprehensive Boiler Error Code Library now linked in the top site navigation. It captures local homeowners, property managers, and techs troubleshooting heating equipment emergencies.
- Accelerate Builder Spec Sheet leave-behinds: Attach the downloadable Builder Spec Sheet to every GC bid and outreach email to work down the 105-builder outreach tracker.
How to use the builder spec sheet
This one-pager is your most useful sales tool this summer — it tells a builder in five seconds who you are and why to call you. Put it to work everywhere:
- Attach it to every builder email. Send it with the intro email so they have something to file and forward to their team.
- Print a stack as leave-behinds. Drop copies at builder offices, job-site trailers, and plumbing/HVAC supply houses where GCs pick up materials.
- Hand one to anyone you meet on a job. Supers, GCs, other trades — one sheet in their hand keeps your name in front of them.
- Post the image version to Facebook, Instagram, and your Google Business Profile so it shows up when builders look you up.
- Include it with every bid. It frames you as the specialist, not just another number on the quote.
Tip: the goal isn't to sell on the sheet — it's to make a builder remember "the hydronics guy who designs the system himself" and pick up the phone.
The strategy in a nutshell
Summer is install season — new construction and planned replacements — while winter is maintenance. So this season leans hard toward builders and new homes, where the big-ticket hydronic work gets designed in. Paid spend stays under $500/mo; the free channels (Google Business Profile, reviews, and direct builder outreach) carry the season. We don't out-shout the big HVAC shops — we show up where they aren't, as the specialist the builder calls for radiant, snowmelt, and high-efficiency boilers.

What we're doing
Builder outreach (the engine)
Work the 105-builder tracker ~10/week — intro email + follow-up call. Start with the 18 "A" targets (big UT volume builders + Park City luxury for snowmelt/radiant). Goal: preferred-installer relationships.
Google Business Profile
Post weekly, answer questions, keep it complete. You're set up as a manager — verification is in progress. Free and the biggest local lever.
Reviews
Text a review link to every happy customer the day the job wraps. A steady drip of 5-star reviews drives local ranking.
Google Ads (local)
Use the new $500 credit on tight, high-intent search terms (boiler install, radiant floor, snowmelt). Cap ~$10–$15/day, then stay under budget.
Facebook + Instagram
Mostly organic — 2–3 posts/week (first 3 weeks of captions are in the plan). Optionally boost one strong post/month.
Weekly cadence
Mon: email 10 builders + GBP post. Tue–Wed: follow-ups + social. Thu: check Ads + reviews. Fri: review links + update tracker. Repeat.

A few things that would sharpen this
The plan runs without these — but each one makes it better. Type below and hit send, or just text Tim.
Confirm the monthly budget
Plan is built for under $500/mo. Confirm that ceiling or give your number.
Photos & a summer offer
Text 6–10 install photos (radiant in progress, finished boards, snowmelt driveways) for social + the spec sheet. And any offer to lead with?
Your own ideas — where can we be creative?
Builders you already know, a realtor who refers, subdivisions nobody's working, a creative offer or demo. This is where your local knowledge wins.
